
Dr. Charles T. Grad, MD
Dr. Grad provides patient care in the specialty of Gastroenterology at LMG’s physician offices, at Geisinger-Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania, and at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania. Dr. Grad is the subsection Chief of Gastroenterology for Geisinger Health System and and Director of the Gastroenterology Lab at Geisinger-Community Medical Center.
Dr. Grad is a highly experienced GI Endoscopist, having performed more than 40,000 endoscopies that include colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and ERCP’s (a complex procedure for patients with liver, gall bladder, or pancreatic problems). Dr. Grad has a special interest in Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s), colorectal cancer screening and hepatobiliary and pancreatic cancers.
Dr. Grad resides in Clarks Summit with his wife, Marilyn. Outside of medicine, Dr. Grad loves free time with his family and 9 grandchildren and enjoys playing golf and being outdoors.
