Dr. Charles T. Grad

For over 40 years, Dr. Grad has provided patient care in the specialties of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. Dr. Grad is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Temple University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Geisinger in Danville, PA. Dr Grad is board certified in Internal Medicine with special training in Gastroenterology.

 Dr. Grad is a highly experienced GI Endoscopist, having performed more than 40,000 endoscopies that include colonoscopies, gastroscopies, and ERCP’s (a complex procedure for patients with liver, gall bladder or pancreatic problems). Dr Grad has a special interest in Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), Inflammatory bowel disease (ulcerative colitis/Crohn’s), colorectal cancer screening and hepatobiliary pancreatic cancers.

 Dr. Grad served as the Director of the Gastroenterology Lab at Geisinger – Community Medical Center for over 20 years.  

 Along with LMG, Dr. Grad practices at the Veteran Affairs Medical Center in Wilkes Barre, PA.

 He and his wife Marilyn live in Clarks Summit. They enjoy being near their five children and extended family. Dr. Grad is affectionately known as Pop to the nine grandchildren he adores.
